Head - Design & Engineering
Role & responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver the projects meeting time, cost, Quality
- Provide Conceptualization, Cost benefit analysis, Verification, Validation of solution, Understanding the financial modelling for the project viability is considered as plus
- Leading Optimisation/Value Engineering initiatives in the department and create value engineered solutions.
- Evaluation and selection of new technology in Module, Inverter, Battery Storage System
- Coordination with the vendor/OEM for understanding new Products in market.
- Preparation of EYA (Energy Yield Assessment) document and create methodology for performance evaluation Supporting Business Development for preparing preliminary costing estimates for solutions.
- Overseeing various aspects of project management, including site measurement plans, coordinating construction activities, and managing the testing and commissioning phase of the project.
Preferred candidate profile:
- Should have around 15 years of relevant experience (12-13 years in case of ME/MTech) with understanding of Solar PV system, BESS Technology
- Detail understanding of DC, AC, substation design for C&I and Ground mounted systems.
- Should have overall understanding of Electrical, mechanical , civil aspects for solar PV system.
- Should have worked in a reputed design/engineering consultancy organisation or with leading EPC companies.
- Must have hands on experience in designing of Solar PV system, understanding of new market trends, Upcoming technology, Estimation and costing, testing etc
- In-depth knowledge of various IEC/NEC/IS Codes and standards.
- In depth Knowledge of design softwares like PVsyst, PVSol or similar design software
