Job Responsibility :
- Over all basic understanding of Utility services, mainly Boiler Operation.
- Understanding of process flow of Boiler and steam supply.
- To provide uninterrupted steam supply for production/process requirement.
- Safe operation of Boiler at optimum efficiency.
- Support to maintain critical spares.
- Ensures timely & effective operation of Boilers and its accessories.
- Effectively Perform preventive, predictive maintenance for optimum machine performance at minimum cost.
- Attend breakdown, if any.
- Preventive maintenance activity entries to be done in maintenance work order sheet as per schedule.
- Update of issues and concerns with respect to Boiler to the area owner
- Adherence to applicable GES to upkeep the responsible areas as per agreed conditions.
- Compliance with ,boiler act ,GMP and site QMS systems
- Adheres to the zero access and safe machine guarding procedures as per the GSK EHS guidelines.
- Ensures strict adherence to permit to work & Lock out Tag out (LOTO) system as per EHS guidelines, in the area of accountability.
- Report Zero Accident promotion (ZAP) points.
- Awareness of Chemical Risks.
- Active participation/support to GPS way of working to achieve the zero accident, zero defect and zero waste for consistently deliver outstanding safety, quality, service and value to the person at the end of our supply chain.
- Maintaining all required log books up to date as per requirements.
- Timely completion of all mandatory and expected trainings as well as curricula.
Education Qualification :
- 1st Class Boiler Attendant certificate qualification in relevant discipline (ITI) with at least 3years experience working in a Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- SSC + ITI

- At least 2+ years of experience as Boiler Operator
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to problem-solve and share initiative
- Flexible and adaptable
- Able to think logically and act rationally
- Able to remain composed in a difficult situation
