Research, recommend, specify and document technology for platforms in support of organization's strategic vision. Responsible for translating business/customer requirements into platform architecture encompassing hardware, software, SoCs and other components designed to support a variety of systems, solutions and applications. Design, develop, and analyze overall platform architecture and partitioning between hardware and software to meet use cases and workloads in terms of performance, scalability, manageability, reliability, and security requirements. Leads architectural governance and decisions related to product technology and platform tradeoffs as part of a cross functional architecture decision group. Provide technical direction for platform, SoC and component design activities. Influences the shaping of future products/solutions by significantly contributing to the architecture and technology employed throughout the compute continuum. Provides multilayered technical expertise for next generation initiatives.
Qualifications
Designs and develops GPU board, Product and System design for GPU/AI Accelerator Server platforms. Responsible for prototype HW design. Responsible for designing the HW as validation vehicle, product cards or Reference systems for Intel discrete GPU for HPC/AI platforms. The engineer is responsible for collecting the requirements from Marketing and Product Arch, translating those into System architecture document. As part of the process candidate prepares specifications, evaluates vendors, and conducts various trade of analysis. Ensures products conform to standards and specifications. 1) Bachelor/Master's/Doctorate degree in Electrical or Electronics and Communications Engineering.2) Candidate should have strong basic electronics background 3) Should have in depth knowledge of digital design, transmission lines, CPU and GPU designs, Power electronics areas.4) Experience in High speed board design, Signal integrity and power integrity is must5) Hands on experience on Intel silicon, GDDR/HBM, PCIE G5/G6, HSIO SERDES is desired6) Should have worked on Power delivery subsystems7) Strong analytical ability, problem solving and communication skills8) Ability to work both independently and in a team environment9) Deep understanding of other subsystems such as thermal, mechanical, EMI/EMC and Power electronics domains10) Experience in managing large projects and working with ODMs

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
