What We Are Looking For:
The product development team is looking for a talented individual with a passion to learn, and dedication to immediately contribute to our web security applications. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on learning new technologies and is eager to make an immediate impact on our customer dashboard. This role will challenge the successful candidate to hone their PHP and JavaScript skills keeping in mind the quality, scalability, and robustness required.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Help architect and build a modern front-end for a successful and established security company.
Build customer-facing dashboards using Laravel, Vue.js, and Tailwind CSS.
Consume internal APIs, implement business logic, and work with the team to design the best ways to bring our visions to life.
Work with Product Team and UX Designers to implement data-intensive dashboards to manage website monitoring and security activities.
You'll be responsible for creating more than just production code – tests, design, documentation, performance analysis, and product support.
Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent.
Experience
A minimum of 5 years of relevant corporate or commercial experience.
Experience developing software in a professional environment, including source control, bug tracking, unit testing.
Languages and Frameworks: PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, Vue.js, Tailwind CSS
Experience with software and system designs: software design patterns, object-oriented architecture and design, network principles and protocols, REST API design, microservices.
In-depth knowledge and experience with various web hosting environments and network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, SSH, FTP, HTTP).
Talents and Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 web application security risks and how to mitigate them.
Excellent English language communication skills to work effectively with a global team.
Solid understanding and experience with PHP, object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, and MVC frameworks.
Proficiency with JavaScript and/or TypeScript, CSS frameworks, and the ability to work from Figma designs to build reusable and responsive UI elements.
Interest in the PHP and JS build and deploy process, containerization, and collaborating on CI/CD improvements.
Knowledge of static and dynamic code analysis tools.
Knowledge of modern security issues, including authentication and authorization.
