AddressData Modelling
- 7+ years of hands-on relational, dimensional, and/or analytic experience (using RDBMS, dimensional, and ETL and data ingestion protocols).
- Experience with Enterprise level Data integration and Data Warehouse and in multi-data-source contexts
- Rich Experience in MSBI suite including MS SQL Server (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS and SSMS)
- Good knowledge of metadata management, Data Modeling, and related tools
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Data Modeler or in a similar role with a minimum of [X] years of experience.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing relational, dimensional, and analytical data models.
- Proficiency in Data Modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, PowerDesigners) and database management systems.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with data profiling, data quality, and metadata management.
- Familiarity with data governance and compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- B.E/ B.Tech/Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications in Data Modeling or related areas.
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in Data Modeling and database management.
- Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for databases and data warehouses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data architects, analysts, and developers, to understand business requirements and translate them into data models.
- Ensure data models align with organizational standards and support data governance and data management initiatives.
- Perform data profiling and analysis to validate data models and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with database administrators and developers to implement and optimize data models.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to data models, data dictionaries, and data lineage.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the Data Modeling team.
