Fire Engineering Services - Trainee Engineer (Mumbai)

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Assist the Fire engineers in providing sales with high quality and timely Fire Engineering Services (Engineering and Estimation) so that sales can deliver accurate and detailed calculations to their customer on these projects to achieve the requisite sales target.
This position is based in Mumbai and reports to the Global Project Team Manager – FES and the job will include

Responsibilities:

•        Responsible for project take off/estimation for assigned Steelmaster and Jotachar enquiry projects on a daily basis for both hydrocarbon & cellulosic projects.
•        Responsible for the quality of estimation services rendered for assigned Steelmaster/ Jotachar enquiry projects on a daily basis.
•        Assisting Senior Engineers – Fire Engineering Services in project take off/estimation.
•        Contribute to the global Fire engineering service teams efforts in finding new ways and means to upgrade the value-added services provided by the team.
•        Provide support to sales account responsible to win projects by giving quick and proper analysis of the project and competition and assist in discussions with customers.
•        Preparation of Planswift marked up drawings as and when required by project/ customers
•        The Global Fire Engineering Service (FES) team provides all technical specifications of Steelmaster and Jotachar products to the Jotun sales network, ensuring technical and regulatory compliance and supporting sales. The FES team furthermore provides Fire Engineering competence to marketing and R&D to optimize current portfolio and to identify innovation possi bilities and needs.
•       The FES team assists sales in technical discussions to respond to customer needs and to position Jotun as preferred supplier.

Qualifications:

•        Bachelor degree in Mechanical / Civil Engineering. Civil is preferable.
•        Minimum 0 to 2 years’ of relevant experience
