What's Finshots?


Finshots is a new-age media startup aiming to make finance and business news more relatable to millennials. We curate digestible content on how various business news affects the average Joe. We talk in simple English. No Jargons. Just simple English.

We aim to be the go-to platform for millennials for all things finance.

What’s the role of the Financial Editor at Ditto?


As an editor-writer, you will be creating crisp pieces of content on how business news in and around India affects the average Joe. You will also be leading all content initiatives on the Finshots newsletter, including but not limited to writing and editing the newsletter.

The perfect candidate is someone who not only has a profound understanding of finance and economics but also possesses the creativity and narrative skills required to transform dry financial data into engaging stories. This person should be adept at identifying the pulse of Indian millennials, crafting content that is not just informative but also relatable and entertaining.


What will you be working on as a Financial Editor?

  • Generate engaging and informative content for the daily newsletter after extensive brainstorming and research

  • Stay up to date with the financial markets and simplify significant developments for our readers

  • Lead all content initiatives like personal finance series, explainers etc. for the newsletter

  • Edit and proofread content pieces created by writers


What are we looking for?


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Journalism, Communications, or a related field. A background in finance is preferred.

  • Over 3 years of experience in content creation, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry.

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a knack for adapting tone and style to suit various platforms and audiences.

  • Proven ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, engaging content.

Our Interview Process:

We would like to help you minimise your time and effort. There are 4 rounds & we will be working towards completing all the rounds within a maximum of 2 weeks time.
