We are looking for a Financial Analyst to review, analyze and report the financial progress, and deliver meaningful advice and recommendations based on findings to drive financial performance of the organizational unit. The role will also require to develop financial reporting packages, innovate and drive reporting and analytics solutions. The Financial Analyst will also coordinate and drive the financial planning process of the organization, including forecast, in short to medium term in accordance with global standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong data analytical skill, analyst mentality, and a passion for automating financial reports for cross-functional teams to help them get reports and analysis which can identify trends, patterns, and opportunities, helping to drive efficiency and informed
What you will do:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Collect and analyze large datasets from various sources to extract relevant information and provide valuable insights.
- Apply statistical methods to interpret data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Review, analyze and report the Financial Progress and secure business performance during period-end closing
- Assess performance for financial accounts and targets (primarily P&L, Opex,etc.), comparing Actual results vs. Targets and forecasts or latest estimations
- Calculate hourly rate on unit/legal entity/job stage level, for productive cost centers, according to applicable directives. Activity includes registering output in requested tools.
- Analyze and control costs for assigned unit, Actuals performance vs forecast. Analysis includes: over/under absorption for the time reporting units, cost charging follow-up, headcount review, billability, trends, run rates, deviations, etc.
- Provide insightful variance analysis to highlight key business drivers and recommend strategic actions to achieve financial objectives.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances.
Automation/ Digitalization, Dashboarding & Data Visualization:
- Automate, design and create interactive dashboards and reports for stakeholders using tools like Power BI, or other relevant software, communicating data-driven insights in a visually compelling manner for efficient analysis and actions.
- Collaborate with teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs to automate.
- Tools & Resources knowledge: Advances Excel skills, Power point, VBA coding, Power Bi, SQL, SAP Analytical Cloud (SAC), Business Warehouse (P50), BPC, Business Objects, MicroStrategy Tool, SAP (P12)
You will bring:
- Education: A degree in Business Administration, Chartered Accountant, CFA or equivalent qualification with knowledge and interest in automation. Degree/ knowledge in Data Science is a big plus.
- 5-10 years' experience from relevant position within Ericsson or relevant position at an external company giving the ability to act and perform the duties of the role Financial Analyst
- Experience with coding and data visualization tools such as Power BI, or similar.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex data findings to stakeholders
