We are looking for a Film Director to join our team and oversee the narrative interpretation of a script to be shown in our final production.
The Film Director's responsibilities include reading and editing scripts, directing film crews and actors, and overseeing the production of the final film. Ultimately, you will work with actors and other individuals on set to ensure the film matches your creative vision for the final production.
Key responsibilities:
1. Reading scripts and working on its continued development
2. Attending casting sessions and selecting actors
3. Interpreting a script and understanding the story and narrative style
4. Overseeing rehearsals
5. Identifying set locations
6. Working within budgetary constraints
7. Managing conflict on set
8. Adhering to a production schedule
9. Coordinating with the camera crew, art directors, costume designers, and musical composers to ensure consistent creative execution
10. Working with the editor to create the film in its final form
