Responsibilities:
- Market Research:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging fashion trends, consumer preferences, and competitive dynamics.
- Stay abreast of global fashion events, runway shows, and industry developments.
- Trend Analysis:
- Interpret and analyze fashion trends, considering cultural influences, societal shifts, and technological advancements.
- Collaborate with the design team to translate trend insights into innovative design concepts.
- Consumer Behavior Analysis:
- Study and comprehend consumer behavior, demographics, and lifestyle choices to anticipate fashion preferences and demands.
- Collaboration with Production Department:
- Work closely with the production team to provide informed recommendations on fabric selections, color palettes, and design elements based on trend analysis.
- Ensure a seamless alignment between trend forecasts and production capabilities.
- Competitor Analysis:
- Monitor competitor activities and analyze their product offerings to identify strategic opportunities and areas for differentiation.
- Presentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and deliver insightful trend reports and presentations to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, or a related field.
- Proven experience in trend analysis within the fashion industry.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent understanding of design principles and garment construction.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
