Responsibilities and tasks:
Layout Planning Scope:
- Work with key area representatives to develop the process and associated business rules for the review/approval/tracking and communication of equipment layout revisions
- Work with key area representatives to develop the process and associated business rules for collecting/reviewing/standardizing/cataloging and communicating tool design information
- Represent the manufacturing areas to provide design coordination for equipment installs, relocations, upgrades and remodels.
- Maintain an up-to-date Layout plan that accurately displays all planned tool activity.
- Coordinate with Facilities Engineering & Hookup team to determine the feasibility of layouts based upon structural, mechanical, electrical, cost and schedule limitations.
- Support Facilities Engineering team by providing equipment facilitation information and process requirements as needed.
- Better understanding of the Backend process areas including processing equipment types, support equipment types, cleanroom protocols & Site safety requirements
Tool Install Scope:
- Coordinate project planning, budgeting, designing, construction and commissioning for efficient and effective project execution.
- Ensure coordination of design and construction with all affected groups e.g. end user, safety, environment, risk management and other stakeholders
- Support Tool Install/re-layout execution ensuring dateline, quality and cost are meeting the requirement
- Identify opportunity of improvement within construction and project scope
- To work with relevant team on Proper Project Handover & Project closure
- Competencies in Project and cost management tools such as Microsoft Project, Maximo, etc.., is an added advantage
- Participate in costs reduction
Others
- Works with Purchasing and other sites to reduce costs and negotiate terms.
- Ensures area leaders review trends and end of life data to determine expense budget and capital needs.
- Ensures area leaders and experts are included in technical review and coordinating with Facilities Engineering on system designs, changes and expansions.
- Develops long term improvement strategies by monitoring area processes and systems.
- Makes disciplined business-driven decisions by gathering data and team feedback.
- Ensures each area manages and maintains proper procedures and documentation.
- Ensures each area deploys and communicates new initiatives, goals and expectations.
- Document Discipline Scope
- Management Discipline Scope Change Process and documentation.
- Provide Plant Procurement Technical Support
- Ensure all Plant scope is executed to Safety Standards and requirements. Review all Job plans for high risk during construction in discipline related areas /scope.
- Track and Report progress weekly on Plant progress, risk, schedule, cost for Discipline.
- Oversee Disciplines installation Q&A assurance and Testing and Commissioning Activities.
- Coordinate and Lead Plant Closeout activities for Discipline, Punch listing and verification, Documentation and System Handover
- Establishing effective Plant communication plans and ensuring their execution between engineering and construction discipline.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, preferably in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Project or related field of study or any related field of study. Master's Degree desired.
- Min 2 years experience in Layout planning and Project management
- Ability to prioritize and schedule workload and work on multiple tasks concurrently
- Good organizational skills and Service attitude
- Excellent communication skills and good team working skills, English required
- Self-motivated worker
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing and facilities systems
- Strong ability in English speaking and writing, be able to communicate with English speaking engineers both verbally and by writing.
Education Required:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, preferably in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Project or related field of study. Master's Degree desired.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 10-year experience in Bachelors Degree in Engineering, preferably in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Project or related field of study
Experience Desired:
- Demonstrable experience in the management Bachelors Degree in Engineering, preferably in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Project or related field of study for semiconductor Plants and/or other relevant industries is strongly preferred. Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing and facilities systems
- Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to visualize issues and communicate them to others.
- Outstanding organization, coordination, and leadership skills - ability to coordinate and motivate groups of Consultants / Contractors.
