Business Analyst Testing- Business Consulting Risk - FSRM - Kolkata

Our Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) practice focuses on risk management, regulatory, quantitative, and technology backgrounds. The breadth of experiences of FSRM professionals enables the practice to coordinate the delivery of a broad array of risk management services to capital market participants throughout the world in a well-integrated manner.
Your key responsibilities :
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a BA in the investment banks and capital markets area
- Ensure strong day to day management, ongoing cross training and development of staff within the GDTA department.
- Strong experience of Transfer Agency operations, where experience in a business analysis/project management/system development role a distinct advantage.
- Proven track record of Agile delivery
- Strong experience of Transfer Agency external output creation and dispatch methods
- Practical experience of process reviews and re-engineering.
- Proven record of improving efficiency including introduction of automated solutions.
- Excellent analytical skills, pragmatic approach to problem solving & highly developed people management skills
- Requirement gathering by way of workshops and adoption of leading role to critically establish day 1 needs vs. target needs
- Ensure that any errors, losses and complaints are escalated and resolved in accordance with local procedures.
- Business test cases creation, quality assurance of solutions delivered into SIT,
- Execution of business testing in UAT, in conjunction with the end-users, test security e.g. user profiles & privileges and raise defects and provide business impact prioritization
- Test Execution : Execute tests as required by the comprehensive test plan and as prioritized by the Test manager
- Defect Logging : Log defects arising during all test phases in the nominated defect management system and manage the resolution of defects through an effective triage process.
