- This role is a part of the Programming Strategy & Insights team for the English movies cluster. This role manages scheduling/plotting of Movies & shows on RMS to timely generate & periodically revise FPCs for a few channels in this cluster.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage scheduling/plotting of Movies & shows on RMS to timely generate & periodically revise FPCs for English channels and Star Gold Select SD & HD channel.
- End-to-end execution of LIVE, deferred-LIVE & scripted programs incl. OSCARS
- End-to-end execution of properties like Master Chef Australia
- Advertisers' Funded Programs on all English Movies & GECs
- Timely update of Inventory Master & Remaining Runs for Movies & Series incl. new/expired assets
- Support Star Gold Thrills whenever required
- Maintaining of PTK file for error free On-Air telecast
- Backup list of titles and assets to be played in case of any technical difficulty/black-out.
- Check on all the Sponsors deliverables during the LIVE & repeat telecast airings.
- Co-ordination with the PFT team from the time content is first received and collaboratively instructing them with the asset creation basis the break structure, episodic split.
- Co-ordination with Editors
- Follow-up with Standards & Practices team for timely edits & with PFT for the mastering status
- Sharing elements' playout with the Traffic & Presentation team
- Quarterly co-ordination with the Finance team regd. movies and series identified as impaired and suggesting playout schedule basis programming plan
- Streamlining Broadcast Operations and Traffic & Presentation team for any last-minute approval for changes in the FPC
Performance Measures:
- Targets on the viewership of channels assigned
- Smooth and error-free functioning of channels assigned
- Number of sharp and actionable insights that were provided to business that aided strategic decisions
- Initiatives to increase efficiency of operations
Qualifications:
- Graduate
- Exposure to the media industry will be preferred
- Good Quantitative and analytical ability
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills
- Comfortable working with large volumes of data (MS Excel Must)
