Job Summary
Design & Development of Mechanical Assemblies and Parts comprising Springs, Gears, Linkages, Fastners decide appropriate Materials, Prepare BOM. Identify project specific requirements. Choose most appropriate Assembly from existing technology or Develop new parts & enhance know-how, Know-why. Identify alternative/ Equivalent Materials & Processes, Standardisation & Benchmarking. Design of Equipment Layout as per Customer requirement, Civil footprint and Loading. Calculations of strength of material and Seismic & structural design calculations. Visit to remote Construction Sites (Green field and Brown field) during and after Civil construction & GIS Erection, collaborate with contractor, consultant and customer for optimum layouting, cutouts, cable trenches of indoor and outdoor equipments such as Busducts and terminations. Handle customer complaints & Non-conformities, Test Bed Rejections, Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Implement CAPA and Quality Improvement Projects. Designing & modelling (3D and 2D) of parts its schedules & prioritisation. Create & Maintain Error-free ERP/SAP BOM with attention to duplication.
