• Communicating guest room status to the Front Desk• Working with the Engineering department for guestroom maintenance• Supervising general cleaning schedule• Preparing work assignments• Inventorying supplies• Supervising daily Housekeeping shift operations• Assisting in ordering supplies• Supporting inspection program for guestrooms and public space• Handling guest problems and complaints• Improving service performance
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience in housekeeping or related area• OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with no work experience required• Knowledge of budgets and financial management• Customer service skills• Ability to manage and train employees
