ETO SOURCING ENGINEER
Description
Works independently to update purchasing systems and coordinates approval and control of purchasing activities. Provides support to sourcing and finance teams globally.
Proactively contacts suppliers to maintain pertinent data, obtain needed documentation, and enable suppliers in purchasing systems.
Support identification/resolution of supplier invoice and payment issues.
Support completion, closure, and recording activities for various contracts and other supplier documentation.
Prepare documentation for sourcing events.
Initiate/Support work delivering results in meeting cost, quality, delivery, and inventory goals.
Support supplier quality activities with supplier quality improvement engineers, suppliers, and category teams.
Liaison between purchasing teams and other functions.
Participating in health safety and environmental awareness and improvement activities and daily tasks.
Perform any other tasks assigned.
Participate in Project teams, when necessary, to ensure effective implementation of change.
Communicate with the supplier and work with supplier to manage Project deliverables within agreed timelines.
Use common process tools and business systems to provide repeatable analytics and reporting.
Ensure data integrity of all purchasing information as it is created and deliver ongoing improvement of existing data.
Identify improvements for business processes.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
Experience using Microsoft office including excel, PowerPoint, and word required.
Prior purchasing systems experience preferred.
•Coordination with suppliers for ETO option quote working as per RFQ requirement,
•ETO parts sourcing from approved vendors within budget, SSD timelines,
•PO release for ETO parts, scheduling & monitoring for deliveries with supplier, SQI & Plant quality.
•Coordination with SQI & Plant quality for ETO Product parts sourced,
•Coordination with commodity owners for selection of supplier for ETO parts sourcing,
•PFA in system,
•Coordination with suppliers for On Time Delivery & First Time Right of ETO parts sourced as per customer agreed SSD.
•Coordination with suppliers for Proto Unit manufacturing as per design,
•Product compliance related documentation coordination with suppliers,
•PPAP/Source release processing for ETO parts,
•Support on ETO Product quality & OMCS for shipment,
