The role is responsible for supporting the communications with Indian & Sri Lankan suppliers, implementation of Environmental Sustainability programs, standards, projects, and administration of the Environmental Sustainability Manager's programme activities in line with Primark's Global Environmental Strategy.
What You'll Do
- Collecting and mapping information on production supply chain
- Collecting and mapping information on ES (Environmental and Sustainability) Commitment & Guidelines
- Support ES Team in the achievement of Chemical management KPI's
- Reporting on supplier communications, site visits, audits, and case studies
- Effective use of database and other tools to track, analyse and report performance to metrics
- Engage across all departments and levels with confidence and gravitas
- Reports on supplier communications, site visits, audits, and case studies
We are looking for someone who:
- Minimum 1 year of Experience in environmental and/or chemicals management
- University / professional qualification within either Environmental, chemical, Industrial production engineer chemistry or related studies
- Good knowledge of effluent treatment plant, Hazardous & waste management
- Knowledge on 14001
- IT literate (database, spreadsheets)
