Description:
We are seeking a proficient and experienced English Tutor to provide in-person tutoring sessions for foreign individual in Chandigarh, specifically in Sector 74. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and the ability to engage students in interactive learning experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting one-on-one tutoring sessions in English language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.
- Assessing students' English proficiency levels and developing customized lesson plans to meet their learning objectives.
- Utilizing a variety of teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and preferences.
- Providing constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their English language skills effectively.
- Monitoring students' progress and adjusting teaching strategies as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
- Communicating regularly with students to motivate and encourage them in their language learning journey.
- Maintaining accurate records of students' attendance, progress, and performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an English tutor or teacher, preferably working with students of various ages and proficiency levels.
- Strong command of the English language, including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and syntax.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with students and create a positive learning environment.
- Patience, creativity, and flexibility in adapting teaching approaches to meet individual student needs.
- Availability to conduct in-person tutoring sessions at least three times per week for a minimum of two hours each session.
- Familiarity with diverse teaching resources and techniques for teaching English as a second language is a plus.
- Ability to commute to Sector 74 in Chandigarh for in-person tutoring sessions at cafes.
