About the Role
- System Engineer responsible for hardware and software bring-up, feature enablement, and software configurations of Digital cockpit system/High performance compute` node.
- Responsible for integrating and maintaining different software functional modules from the shared platform codebase and driving the software migration to the new kernel versions and Android pastries.
What You Will Do
- Digital cockpit software bring-up and feature enablement.
- Board bring-up(QC6/QC8, EA9/EA7.etc) and peripheral validation.
- Android framework extensions to support automotive feature development.
- Interface with various domains to achieve system stability metrics.
- Features and enhancements for customers.
- System boot and runtime performance optimization.
- Report status, issues, and progress of the SW development to the SW project lead
What You Need
- 4+ years of experience in embedded systems, focusing on Android, Linux, and QNX.
- Experience in device driver development and device tree changes
- Experience in Android system and framework development and debugging
- Experience in system virtualization and instrument cluster development is preferred
- Experience in system performance optimization is preferred
- Strong C, C++ programming skills
- Good understanding of Java/Kotlin programming
- Knowledge of system-level debugging
