Engineer - Product Quality Support

• The main purpose of this role is to work for the design solutions towards quality issues for new products/ existing products
• The person will be a key contributor from engineering side to work on Product Quality issues
• He/She is also responsible for maintaining required quality documents like FMEA, Risk analysis, Issues tracker, failure analysis report
• The job holder will bring his/her professional expertise and knowledge in all aspects of MV/ LV Switchgear products

Key Accountabilities:

1. To plan and execute the allocated quality activities within Engineering
2. Provide solution for Product Quality issues by working on on-going engineering projects.
3. Prepare and maintain quality tracker with actions, implementation, and plan.
4. Prepare the validation plan to support the suggested solution and execute it through various trials and testing.
5. Follow design change processes developed by Lucy engineering team and issue drawings, bill of material using the Lucy CAD system
6. To work in collaboration with NPD/CPE team to execute the engineering changes though ECR process
7. To prepare/ maintain required quality document like FMEA, Risk analysis, Issues tracker, Failure analysis report in coordination with NPD/CPE team

Job Context:

• The position is responsible to execute allocated engineering activities derived through quality issues from customer sites, Lucy factories
• Working as an individual coordinator within an engineering team, who execute all the necessary activities to solve the Product Quality issues like design solution, validation, and verification trials, FMEA, Risk analysis, failure analysis etc
• The incumbent would be responsible to prepare and maintain the required quality control documents

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: - Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical / Mechanical with MV/LV switchgear background

Minimum Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience
