Job Description / ResponsibilitiesThe selected consultant will be required to support forçóUnderstanding of automotive Electrical System and Wiring harness design.3 D wiring harness layout creations, routing in CATIA.
Clamping, brackets/panel design for the wiring and cables for packaging and routing.
Info fitment drawing preparation.
Knowledge of 2D drawing creation in CHS/CATIA.
Knowledge of Wiring harness design t echniques for vehicle functional safety and protection. Benchmarking, Cost Reduction, DFMEA, DFA, DFS, DFM
Support for making p rototype vehicles, pre-production & serial production vehicles. Preferred Skills & Knowledge
Knowledge of design aspects for aut omotive circuits, wiring harness, GD&T analysis of assembly.
Knowledge of electrical aggregates used on automotive applications a nd their functions.
Proficient in Computer aided analytical tools to assist in a faster, better and cost effective design. CAD - C ATIA V5 and CHS hands on experience is required.
Knowledge of interfacing components to ensure system level design compatibility, robustness.çóShould have knowledge and fundamentals of engineering BOM.
Working knowledge of problem solving techniques and desig n optimization.çóKnowledge of verification, testing, regulatory and validation requirements. Should have basic knowledge of regu latory / certification requirements like CMVR, AIS, and ECE etc.
