Embedded Test Engineer

Job Title: Embedded Test Engineer

Experience: 7+ years

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field

Location: Pune

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for embedded systems.
2. Design and implement automated test frameworks for new projects, leveraging Python, scripting, Robot framework, and Selenium.
3. Perform testing of REST APIs using automation tools like POSTman.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
5. Create and maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defects.
6. Work closely with developers to identify and troubleshoot software defects.
7. Participate in the definition and improvement of the overall testing process.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

1. 7+ years of experience in Embedded Testing.
2. Proficiency in Python and scripting for test automation.
3. Experience with Robot framework and Selenium for automated testing.
4. Strong background in testing REST APIs, with hands-on experience using tools like POSTman.
5. Proven track record of defining and developing test automation frameworks from scratch for new projects.
6. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
7. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
8. Willingness to work on-site for the first 6 months.
