Embedded Systems Technician

Job Summary:

We are building a High-Performance Team here at ROBU.IN & have vacancy for Embedded Systems Technicianto join our team. Please note this is an entry-level position & only suitable for Recent graduates/Freshers from Engineering streams, or Candidates with at-least 0 to 2 years of knowledge & experience into Electronics & Embedded field.

Experience: 0-2 Years of Knowledge OR Experience in Electronics & Embedded field.

Salary Range:₹16,000 to ₹ 22,000 (In-hand Per Month) + P.F+ ESIC & Health Insurance Benefit. (Salary depends on interview, Skills, Experience & last-drawn salary.)

Educational Qualification:

• Degree in Electronics or Electronics & Telecommunication.

Skills Required:

• Basic Electronics Knowledge: Understanding of basic electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, transistors, diodes, regulators etc. Familiarity with Ohm’s law and power distribution circuitry. Ability to sdolder and desolder SMD components effectively without causing damage.
• Software: Basic C and C++ and good knowledge of communication protocols
• Reading Schematics and Datasheets: Ability to read and understand circuit schematics. Familiarity with datasheets for components used on the development board.
• Knowledge of Microcontrollers and Processors: Understanding the functioning of microcontrollers and processors commonly used in development boards. Knowledge of programming languages if firmware issues are part of the troubleshooting.
• Attention to Detail and Safety Awareness: Precision and attention to detail are crucial when working with small components on development boards. Understanding and following safety procedures to avoid injury and prevent damage to the equipment. Remember that hands-on experience is crucial for developing these skills.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Creative problem-solving skills to address unique issues that may not have straightforward solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot faults in electronic development boards at the component level like sensors, modules etc Utilize testing instruments to measure and verify voltages, currents, and signals.
• Component Repair and Replacement: Perform precise soldering and desoldering of electronic components, including surface-mount devices. Replace faulty components based on diagnostic findings.
• Firmware Handling (if applicable): Work with microcontrollers and processors, diagnosing and addressing firmware-related issues. Upload or modify firmware as necessary for board functionality.
• Quality Assurance and Documentation: Ensure repaired development boards meet quality standards and function as expected. Maintain detailed records of the repair process, including components replaced and testing outcomes.
• Collaboration and Continuous Learning: Collaborate with team members to address issues and improve board reliability. Stay updated on new technologies and repair techniques through continuous learning.
