(a) Responsible for all reactive and proactive maintenance work, whilst making sure it is carried out to the highest possible standards across the whole of the site.
(b) Expected to carry out all maintenance across the plant, in both a low care and high care
environment.
(c) Attend to breakdowns onsite ensuring that there is always a rapid response, and that plant equipment and machinery breakdown time is minimized. Always endeavor to reduce downtime of site plant and machinery.
(d) Carry out period maintenance repairs to plant and equipment during production, effectively and efficiently, either alone and/or as part of a team.
(e) To carry out PPM onsite whilst always ensuring that there is a pro-active approach to planned maintenance and a high PPM output.
(f) Deliver plant uptime and maintenance KPI’s through planned, preventative & predictive
maintenance.
(g) Deliver improvement work on machinery and site improvement work.
(h) Ensure Engineering time is managed effectively and that that there is low Engineering down- time; and Improve OEE. H&S, Food Safety, and GMP
(i) Maintaining tools and equipment, so that they are in a safe working condition; as well as making sure that the workshop and plant rooms are always safe environments.
(j) Always adhere to technical procedures and Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP).
(k) Work in a clean and orderly manner in compliance with the Company’s Hygiene Code of Practice COVID-19 working guidelines; and Ensure all Health and Safety standards are met; and that all equipment complies with Company and legal standards.
(l) Maintain daily Engineering report log; Assist with stores organization /stock control.
(m) Ensure work orders are completed, work permit, safely audits on time.
(n) Liaise effectively with external contractors.
(o) Represent the plant manager for operation and HO Engineering design department in production
meetings and contribute to effective communication within the Engineering team & site team.
(p) Make sure that there is good reporting and communication channels in place with plant
manager.
(q) Develop and maintain good working relationships with Plant Managers.
(r) Support the running of the Unit by resolving breakdowns and by delivering maintenance.
(s) To drive improvement across the site in terms of new machinery maintenance, hygiene, quality,
and performance.
3. Miscellaneous
(a) Give Daily Feedback to all concerned appointments including on PRESPL Operations WhatsApp
Group.
(b) Ensure secrecy of database, technological initiatives, and business plans of the Company
(c) Monitor HSSE / EHS standards of Project Sites in consultation with Sites in Charge and as per Company Policy.
