The Electrician/Assistant Site Manager is responsible for managing personnel, resources, and activities devoted to the electrical power production operation of a 5M (initial load) Power Plant.The qualified candidate will report to the Site Manager and may supervise other Electricians and Generator Mechanics.

Responsibilities
• Managing personnel, resources, and activities devoted to the electrical power production operation.• Acting as Site Manager upon his/her absence.• Meeting with government customer as needed.• Accomplishing inspection and status reports with diagnosis, estimated timeline for repair actions, and list of required parts upon discovery of deficiency.• Maintaining and adhering to applicable technical orders and good commercial practices for all maintenance actions.• Providing written reports of hourly peak demand and fuel consumption, inspections, maintenance, repairs, tests, and certifications of each system or component as required.• Multitasking and working in a high paced environment.• Following a comprehensive quality and safety program in compliance with Vectrus, OSHA, and United States Air Force (USAF) requirements.• Following a comprehensive, flexible, and properly documented training program.• Maintaining a safe, clean, sanitary, healthy, presentable, professional atmosphere, free of dust, clutter, and trash in all working facilities and areas.
Requirements
• Minimum of five years of experience in electrical power production operations/electrical power generation field.• Must have a High School Diploma.• Must be a Licensed Electrician.• Must have and maintain a valid U.S. SECRET Security Clearance.• Must have a current, valid U.S. Passport.• Must have a valid U.S. Driver's License and able to drive with a manual transmission.• Must be able to communicate in English.• Must be able to pass employment and deployment qualification requirements that include psychological, medical, dental, drug testing, background checks, etc.• Fluent in English with good verbal, reading and writing skills.• Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.• Exercise discretion and good sound judgment.• Able and willing to work periods of long hours to meet mission requirements.
