Electrical Supervisor (Maintenance)

- Supervision of work undergoing at our workshop at Karwar as well as on-board vessel/Ships. (Irrespective of trade -Electrical as well as Mechanical). Presently maximum work is from electrical side.

- Handling of team of 10-12 Technicians

- Communication with Naval authority/ User unit and giving them update on daily basis.

- Optimum utilisation of manpower. Specially while working inside base.

- Liaison/ visit on day to day basis to concern in-charges (departments) of undergoing work (onboard ship/ Submarine/Yard)

- To know the additional work (In addition to RRC) of ship/ submarine which can we do and inform to branch in charge

- Keeping record of day to day work, pending work in diary.

- Keeping all machineries, equipment’s available in workshop in serviceable condition,

- Regular maintenance of all machineries, equipment’s held in workshop.

- Keeping the record of calibration status of our equipment’s available with us

- Assist to Branch Manager in administration and other day to day activities.

- At the end of each day, Take out feedback of each work and report to branch in charge. Plan for tomorrows work

- Ensure that employee adhere to our duty timing . Everybody must report before 9 am. As working hours of navy starts at 0800 am, we must report onboard (IF WORK IS THERE) as early as possible.

- Ensue safety of our employees, Ensure they must wear safety shoes and helmet while going on-board to work

- Must aware current RRC, work orders in hand

- Must aware the Pending Bills/ Invoices to raise

- Must know the gate pass procedures, when escorts required at gate during taking the items inside/ outside at main gate and at NSRY gate (Entry in Defence area is restricted to pass holders only)

- Must aware about pending work orders in process by NSRY

- Searching tenders (related to us) from DPP portal, GeM portal etc

- Every call of customer (Naval officials) must be attended and has to answer positively. In case of any doubt, always discuss with branch Incharge. Customer satisfaction is our motto. Majority of part can be done by communications skill.

- Look after the duties of Branch In charge in his absence (leave or any other reason)
