Your responsibilities :- Design of Core, Winding, Winding assembly and Active part (Core and Winding) for Power Transformers and Shunt Reactor. Performing detailed analysis of the electric field in the winding assembly and active part by using FEM tools. Perform 2D and 3D di-electric simulation for the design optimization.
Prepare documentation for mechanical design department and manufacturing applications. Align with manufacturing plan to deliver design specifications, Preparation of fill of materials and create requirements in ERP (SAP). Participating in the technical meetings within the team.
Working together with the other design groups and with the Global R&D to evaluate new component. Cooperate with the company other functions (Production, Procurement, Quality etc.) Possess knowledge of Indian and International Standards & Codes – IEC, IEEE, BIS,, ISO for design related aspects of power transformers and shunt reactors. Follow engineering process to create order designs and documents, keeping project cost in mind while fully aligning with customer specifications.
Proactively identify risks and mitigate in solution concept stage in consultation with Manager. Plan and monitor assigned projects consistently achieving related KPIs. Support services for Erection, Commissioning and site related technical matters.

Your background :- B.E./B.Tech. /M.E./MTech - Electrical with 5 - 12 years of industry experience in Electrical Designing of Power Transformer, Shunt Reactors (preferably 132kV and above product range).
Preferred to have knowledge and exposure to 2-D and 3-D CAD software packages like Creo/MagNet or similar. Having experience of working on optimization and cost saving projects utilizing alternative materials, pro-cesses, and solutions. Understanding of Power Transformer and Shunt reactor Electrical Design, Core & active part.
Candidates have the interest and ability to work with cross competence topics. Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
