Drilling Supervisor (Day/Night)

Purpose of the Job:
The Drilling Supervisor is the Company Representative on the rig site and is responsible for the safe and cost-efficient execution of all Drilling/Completion/Workover related activities in accordance with the programme.

Experience/Qualifications Needed:

• University Degree or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• 15 + years well operations management experience.
• Min 8+ years’ experience as Senior Drilling Supervisor, out of which minimum 3 yrs. international experience as a Drilling Supervisor is must.
• Northeast India (Assam) drilling operation experience is a must.
• Excellent understanding of and Drilling and Workover operational management and Supervision.
• Proven personnel management skills
• Land rig drilling experience.
• Proven project management skills
• Proven commercial awareness.
• A natural drive for performance improvement
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Remote operation management experience.
• Good understanding of PTW system & isolation requirements, hazard identification, STOP authority, Night driving practices and load lifting practices.
• Must have excellent command of the English Language (written and oral) combined with excellent communication skills.  Fully skilled in Well Engineering software’s and computer reporting (EDM, Open Well, Excel etc.).
• Valid (<2 years old) IWCF Well Control Certification Level – 4 (Supervisor level).
