Job description

Key Responsibilities:
1) Strategy (and Ambition planning): Contribute to formulation and execution of the company's strategy delivery & development agenda aligned with the global strategy and approved by BU Management
2) Business Analysis and support: Support and challenge management to deliver their objectives based on concise analysis delivering actionable insights
3) Planning & Rolling Forecasting: Own and drive an effective planning and 15th month rolling forecasting cycle that supports meeting business objectives nurturing cross-functional collaboration in line with global standards and guidelines
4) Management reporting: Deliver high-quality management information for effective steering of the business leveraging globally developed templates and tools
5) Cost & Cash Management: Secure efficient use of company's resources including active pursuit of cost and working capital reduction opportunities in collaboration with line management while driving an overall cost & cash conscious business environment
5) Capex management: Critical review of Investment Proposals with approval authority; own the Investment Proposal process, set standards for high quality proposals aligned with global standards while supporting the organization in meeting these standards
6) Financial reporting: Secure timely submission of correct financial accounts in line with local and global (IFRS & Dutch GAP) reporting standards
7) Transactional finance processes: Ensure efficient transactional finance processes leveraging global tools and processes
8) Credit management: Jointly (with commercial management) responsible for effective credit management properly balancing risk and reward in line with global rules and guidelines
9) Internal Control: Secure a strong internal control environment that meets global standards
10) Claims management: Supervises and controls the handling of claims, within corporate guidelines, in order to guarantee a balance between the financial (economic) risks and the costs of insurance
11) Tax management: Ensures the handling of local tax matters, in line with corporate tax guidelines, in order to comply with relevant local tax rules and legislation.
12) Treasury management: Ensure efficient local treasury management and financing for business in line with corporate guidelines
13) Management support: Act as sparring partner to and replacement of the company's General Manager (second in command)
14) Finance Management: Manage and lead the company's finance functions; define and execute the finance functional development agenda aligned with the global finance functional development agenda
15) IT Management: Manage the company's IT function; support the Business IT manager in defining and executing the IT agenda aligned with the global IT agenda
16) Global finance: Contribute to the overall development and professionalization of the BU and Division Finance function.
Requirements:
- Academic level, Master in Business Economics, Business Administration or comparable
- 10 -15 years of experience in financial roles out of which should have led high performing teams for at least 3 years
- Preferably experience in a Feed/animal nutrition/health and/or IT/Technology/Agritech and industrial organization. Strong experience with manufacturing business is required as a hands-on approach is required.
- Experience in integration of businesses
- Capable to build and maintain effective and motivated teams
- Experience with leading IT functions and implementing ERP systems.
- International working experience or experience in global (matrix) operating companies.
- Should be well versed with Indian taxation, FEMA, GST and transfer pricing laws
- Good (preferably fluent) in English
- Preferably good or fluent in Spanish
- Willing to travel within India and to Latin America (on a need basis)
