Division Profile:

Corporate and Institutional Solutions (C&IS) is a division within Morgan Stanley Wealth Management comprised of Corporate & Digital Solutions, Morgan Stanley @ Work, Virtual Client Solutions, Reinvestment, and Strategic Client Management. The overall goal and vision of C&IS is to create a corporate experience and a consistent corporate employee (“participant”) experience and to engage them throughout their financial life journey that will ultimately lead to a furthering and deepening of their Morgan Stanley Wealth Management relationships.


Position Summary:

Director level role to support business operations and the activities associated with the ongoing management of multiple business lines’ expenses and budgeting.
Key Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:
  • Assist in supporting the Morgan Stanley at Work COO organization across multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Process SPAR & Consultant requests in order to shift invoices to appropriate systems, i.e., Ariba and Fieldglass.
  • Assist with identifying recurring payments and the registration to Morgan Stanley third party system for monthly processing.
  • Assist users with training for Morgan Stanley systems for procurement [Ariba], planned events [EnC] and expense submissions [Concur].
  • This role will be key in ensuring the Shareworks Billing Operations and Morgan Stanley AP teams in the migration of AP from Solium legacy systems to Morgan Stanley systems to use proper systems for procurement and expense processing.
  • Support MS at Work organizational expenses and investment budget.
  • Provide vendor and consultant / contingent management support.
  • Real estate & space management support.
  • Build and document flows, processes, and business controls to streamline the organization and mitigate risks.
  • Point of contact for vendor and payment requests.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:
  • 5 - 10 years experience including financial services related internships.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience in business strategy and management is a plus.
Required Skills:
  • Ability to work independently and possess a strong sense of accountability/ownership.
  • Must be a self-starter and a quick learner, able to prioritize and delegate effectively to manage delivery/execution of a wide range of tasks and initiatives.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with business partners and senior management.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
  • Ability to work in a team environment and partner with multiple individuals across various groups.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, aptitude for working with numerical information.
  • Experience and strong aptitude in using different processing and accounting systems.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness with both oral and written communication.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving environment which includes ongoing learning and training opportunities.
