We are looking for a Copywriter to join our Marketing Services team
- A copywriter will work closely with a team of Campaign Managers (search ads) to help local businesses establish and maintain their digital online presence
- The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who understands the importance of online marketing, demonstrates a deep understanding of creative content, and has a working knowledge of digital marketing
- As a copywriter, you will communicate and work on all digital ad copywriting projects alongside the campaign managers in collaboration to deliver quality ad content required by clients
The impact you'll have
- Performing day-to-day copywriting tasks and managing the workflow
- Providing ad copies that are clear, concise, and grammatically sound
- Understanding the campaign goal, its requirements and creating ads that speak to the target audience
- Building ad content and ad structure from start to finish such as doing relevant keywords research, putting together a list of keywords, ad groups, headlines and ad descriptions.)
- Understanding, developing, and maintaining clear brand voice
- Following advertising best practices and Ad platform policies and guidelines
- Producing quality work and running audits on ads created and running across platforms
- Help to increase the level of Ad copy produced using quality assurance methodology and implementing a process for continued success
The value you'll bring
- 2+ years of experience in copywriting or related role
- Proficient knowledge of SEM, including best practice for writing Ad copies and keyword research
- Proficient knowledge of social media ads ( Facebook/Instagram, Linkedin etc.)
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate within a strong team environment
- Independent decision maker; can take calculated risks and deal with ambiguity
- A technical aptitude and an ability to learn new processes quickly
- Experience or knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO)
- Experience with creative and ads content A/B testing
Bonus Points for
- Knowledge of the Digital Advertising industry - able to speak to campaigns performance and navigate through the platforms
- Experience running Digital Advertising campaigns on platforms (Facebook, Google, YouTube, Display network, Linkedin etc)
- Knowledge of keyword research tools like Google keyword planner, SEMrush.
- Bonus: Experience in web design, usability and content creation
- Bonus: Proficiency with WordPress and experience with Adobe creative suite (Photoshop, InDesign)
