Job Description

  • Organisation Structure


National Customer Service Head>National Head Billing , CnC > Lead Collection Governance



  • Job Purpose (In one or two sentences)


This position is be responsible for the compliance and governance for managing the overall collections process for enterprise with monthly billing of Rs. 650 Cr and Account receivable of ~ 1650 Cr managed by 1000 + direct & indirect executive and 150 vendors.


In absence of dedicated governance vertical for such a large & complex line of business leads to :

  • Incorrect customer master update related GST, SEZ, POS results to accumulation of waivers, drop in monthly collection, increase in account receivables and GST loss to organization.
  • Increase in Account receivable reconciliation due to incorrect payment/TDS/GTDS postings

  • Key Accountabilities / Key Result Areas (Max 5)


Below will be the Key Accountability.

  • Avoid Revenue leakage by effective governance on customer master data related to GST& IRN failure, SEZ & B2C validation, and expectation management control and waivers analytics.
  • Need to build compliance audit on below points for Account receivable reductions
    • Incorrect payment/TDS posting,
    • Credit balance and refund
    • LDC & GTDS postings
  • To build governance mechanism for optimise collection cost for below points
    • GTM based Collection allocation & target setting
    • Vendor management (Payout & agreements)
    • Billing and Collection cost provisions : DB V/s actuals
  • Managing Internal and external process audits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, Legal, and Customer Service, to resolve collection-related issues and drive process improvements.
  • Working with IT for New development, requirements and UATs

In addition to above the ideal candidate must have a strong background in collections management, vendor management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the telecom industry.
