Devops Engineer

The DevOps Engineer is responsible for the implementation and operational support of Magnit’s on prem and cloud environments, as well as the software and associated network and security elements. The DevOps Engineer has direct involvement with maintaining the operational integrity of Magnit data processing platforms and SaaS platform.We are looking for a Senior Azure Administrator and DevOps Engineer with a Total 7 years of experience in Azure cloud and at least 3 years of experience as a DevOps engineer with Azure or AWS cloud platform. Hands on experience in Azure administration and Networking is mendatory. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of Azure networking, infrastructure as code (IAC), and the ability to design and deploy solutions in Azure manually and using IAC. AWS experience is a plus, but a strong learning attitude is essential.You should have a strong Linux foundation and experience with DevOps tools and open source technologies, to solve the problems at hand. You must be passionate about automation and are not satisfied with the status quo. Strive for simple and smooth-running solutions. You should have hunger to Win Attitude.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to Design and deploy Azure solutions manually and using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)Manage and maintain Azure-based infrastructure, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve Azure networking issues.Administer cloud environments including performance monitoring, scaling, operational planning, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.Develop/maintain processes, tools, and documentation in support of production.Participate in the evaluation of new software, hardware, and infrastructure solutions.Monitor system performance and tune performance as necessaryMaintaining proper security for cloud infrastructurePerform server hardening and vulnerability mitigationMaintain records on repairs, downtime, and configuration changesParticipate in planning and implementation of environmental changes including version upgrades, updates, and scaling optionsAssist in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and support
Qualifications:
with 5+ years of experience using core Azure services like: Compute, Storage, Network, Security, Containers, DevOps etc.architecting/deploying infrastructure in Azure utilizing Infrastructure-as-CodeExperience with a variety of scripting languages for automating infrastructure, and creating toolsExperience with a continuous integration and delivery model of deploying softwareExperience with cloud platforms, open-source databases and caching layersInfrastructure as code and configuration as codeIaC skills with Pulumi, Terraform, Ansible, SaltStack or similar are a mustExperience with automation tools: Ansible, Salt, Chef, Jenkins, Git, GitLab, InSpec, Terraform.Experience with Docker, Vagrant, Kubernetes
Qualifications:
Experience with Windows and Linux server administrationExperience with Linux scripting (Ruby, Type script, Python, Shell, PowerShell)Experience with replication, distribution, availability, recovery, and deploymentExperience with server OS and storage technologiesWorking knowledge of software development methodologies including IaaC, regression testing, continuous integration, and push button deployments
