Job Description
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables1. Lead standard room activities like calibration of equipments & gauges, CMM operations,MSA Study etc.
2. Ensuring sample & pilot lots inspection within timelines.
3. Monitoring parts audits as per plan and ensuring NC's closure.
4. Ensuring gauges & fixture validation as per drawing.
5. Ensure quality of bought out parts at receipt stage as per drawing requirements.
6. Drive detailed analysis for failed parts at assembly and provide feedback for parts improvement.
7. Take up the issues with design team for resolution where parts are found as per specifications.
8. Improving inspection methodologies including gauges/equipment identification & rediness to ensure speedy inspection.
9. Ensuring health check up and upkeep for standard room equipments including CMM.
Education QualificationB Tech/BE/DME Mechanical/Automobile / Prioduction Engg.
General Experience7-10 years
Critical ExperienceMahindra Leadership Competencies,
Hands on Inspection Skills with complete GD & T know how
Sound understanding of various inspection equipments like CMM, Gear profile tester, Roundness tester, profile projector, contour tracer etc.
Parts manufacturing process understanding (Sheet metal, Machined parts, Forgings, Gears Shafts and transmission parts, Castings & prop. parts);
Knowledge of Drawing understanding, Quality tools, Quality systems etc ; Having experience on Problem solving through standard approach : QC Story, DOE etc.; Conversant with SAP;
Hands on experience in Audits - Auditing skills, Process and systems audits. preferably all technologies
