Deputy Lead Safety

Candidate should be a BE/BTech (Mech/Elec) with an Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety having 8-10 years of proven experience in Manufacturing Plant Safety. Knowledge of safety guidelines, and awareness of the latest safety technology (work at height, scaffolding, rescue management, etc. would be key. Applicant must be aware and familiar with developing and executing safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines, evaluating policies & procedures to assess risk thereby motivating employees to build a safety culture. The candidate should be competent to inspect equipment & machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions, should have a clear understanding of Fire fighting fire protection systems & Hydrant Systems, and ensure practices like work permit, job safety analysis, log out tag out, safety gears, etc become a part of life. The candidate should have a clear understanding of the process of conducting accident Investigation and root Cause Analysis,  Risk Assessment, Safety Inspection and Audits, Accident Investigation, and root Cause Analysis, and Evaluate information to determine Compliance with standards. The candidate's ability to work in teams effectively for delivering shared goals and the ability to  influence, network, persuade or convince others (both with internal and external groups) to adopt a specific course of action will enusure success on the job. The candidate is also expected to create safety culture through Behavioural Based Safety interventionsExperience in the Metals industry and project phase would be an added advantage
