AddressPurpose of the role
The job holder is responsible for effectively managing the store, by managing the team effectively and aligning with management on business goals (sales, costs, margins). The role requires maintaining the store in order to ensure residents and visitors have access to necessary supplies and accommodations
The role requires continuous monitoring, training & ensuring execution of store operations in order to make it profitable in line with business requirements.
Principal Responsibilities
- Maintains store staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Maintain customer services and facilities.
- Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing reports with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
- Markets merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans; analyzing operating and financial statements for profitability ratios.
- Coordinate with the team to close the sale.
- Maintain stock, supplies and inventories, Take inventory Order groceries and supplies
- Secures merchandise by implementing security systems and maintain accounts Record prices in the log book Receive cash and provide correct change
- Determines marketing strategy changes by reviewing operating and financial statements and departmental sales records.
- Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Overall leadership presence in assigned store
- Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Knowledge / Education
- Graduate/ Post Graduate in any stream
- Above 20 years of age
- 2 above years relevant Retail experience
