Job Overview

Below are the JD for the DBRE role.
- You'll be responsible for managing and supporting Oracle support team.
- You'll primarily be responsible for validation of new Oracle PSU patches, planning, co-ordination with global teams for deploying new PSU patches.
- You'll also be responsible for handling Oraclesupport, Oracle patching, upgrades, migration, kernel patching and ensure PCI compliancy and remediate vulnerabilities.
- You are also required to develop efficient automation framework for better management of the Oracle infra.
- You'll be responsible for developing enterprise-grade distributed products that can perform, scale, and integrate into a broad enterprise ecosystem.
- You'll be required to follow and implement industry best practices for better time to market using latest CI/CD technologies and automate day to day tasks.
- You'll be required to follow change management process, efficiently handle Priority Sev 1 PRD issues and manage 24/7 on call loops.
About the ideal candidate
- You should possess 4+ years of experience working as Oracle DBA preferably on Enterprise grade Linux platform.
- Knowledge on Oracle Data Guard, Golden Gate and RAC is a must.
- Knowledge on MariaDB will be an added advantage.
- Hands on DevOps experience on Ansible and Shell scripting. Knowledge of release management process and tools like Git.
- Working experience on Azure or any other public cloud is preferred.
- • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Master's degree in Computer Applications.
- You possess strong communication, collaboration and co-ordination skills, excellent troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.
- You are a Self-starter, proactive and can work with minimal supervision.
- You possess excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
