•7 years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining (patching, tuning & upgrades) databases. Hands-on experience in: installation & configuration, troubleshooting, replication & backup, restoration & recovery, storage & capacity planning, security, performance monitoring, tuning & diagnostics, patching & upgrade, audit, authentication, decommission. Candidate must have done hands-on troubleshooting themselves and not passing escalations to third party vendors for resolution.
• Good balance of Oracle/MS SQL knowledge (60:40 split). Can be reverse mix (40:60).
• In-depth knowledge & experience in Oracle Database (10g to 19c) and Microsoft SQL Server (2014 to 2019). Various Oracle database version experience (10g, 11g, 12c & 19c) on Exadata or similar platforms.
• Experience using monitoring tool: ServiceNow & SolarWinds.
