Work Location : Nagpur ( Work from Office strictly)

Work Experience : Min. 3 years of relevant work experience is preferred

Roles and Responsibilities:-

Database Administration:

• Manage and maintain databases to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
• Monitor database performance and optimize as necessary.
• Implement and maintain database backup and recovery procedures.
• Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as index rebuilds, database reorganizations, and statistics updates.

Database Design and Development:

• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database schemas.
• Create and maintain database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Assist in the development of database-related applications and tools.

Data Security and Compliance:

• Implement and enforce data security policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, etc.
• Monitor database access and audit database activity.

Performance Tuning and Optimization:

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Optimize SQL queries and database configurations for improved performance.
• Conduct capacity planning and recommend hardware upgrades as needed.

Database Upgrades and Migrations:

• Plan and execute database upgrades and migrations.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to minimize downtime and ensure a smooth transition.
• Test and validate changes in a staging environment before deployment to production.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Database Management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Mongo dB etc.
• Proficiency in SQL and database design principles.
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
• Familiarity with data security and compliance regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus.
