As a Data Science Intern, you'll be at the forefront of leveraging data from various sources, including physiological data collected by sensors, to develop cutting-edge models and algorithms. Your work will be pivotal in extracting valuable insights, refining algorithms, and implementing sophisticated machine learning techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
1 Design and collaborate on studies to align data sets with modeling requirements.
2 Analyze physiological data from wearable sensors using advanced ML/AI techniques.
3 Prepare, clean, and filter sensor and clinical data for analysis.
4 Develop and optimize algorithmic models using ML/AI methodologies.
5 Lead evaluation of algorithm performance and conduct validation testing.
6 Develop models for data aggregation and perform correlation analysis.
7 Contribute to discovery of new evidence and models leveraging AI insights.
8 Manage tools and methodologies for advanced data storage and analysis.
9 Author algorithm specification documents and support regulatory processes.
Collaborate with software development team to integrate algorithms into products.
Required Competencies:
Expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and predictive modeling.
Proficiency in Python and key libraries such as SciPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow.
In-depth experience in analyzing physiological sensor signals.
Strong knowledge of advanced statistical and mathematical methods.
Familiarity with AWS for scalable ML applications and Git for version control.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
At least 3 years of experience processing and analyzing physiological sensor data.
Prior experience in medical technology preferred.
Knowledge of clinical research or experience in regulated environments.
