Job description

As a Data Architect Project Management - Vice President within our cross-functional team, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand data needs and requirements.


You will define and prioritize features, develop a comprehensive roadmap for data products, and act as the liaison between business stakeholders and the development team.


You will also monitor and analyze the performance of data products, stay informed about industry trends, and apply project management methodologies.


This role provides an opportunity to leverage your skills in data management and core banking systems, and make a significant impact on our business.


Job responsibilities:


                1.            Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and requirements for both the strategic platform and the legacy Core Banking Platform.


                2.            Define and prioritize features, enhancements, and data-related initiatives based on business priorities.


                3.            Develop a comprehensive roadmap for data products, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, document data consumption and data lineage.


                4.            Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, facilitating communication and ensuring a clear understanding of requirements.


                5.            As a senior self-contributor, work closely with Chief Data Office, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of data products.


                6.            Monitor and analyse the performance of data products, implementing improvements and optimizations as needed.


                7.            Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data management and core banking systems and apply Pragmatic application of project management methodologies, wealth management / private banking industry knowledge and best practices. 


 Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:


                1.            Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics).


                2.            Proven experience as a Data Product Owner / Project Manager or similar role in the financial industry, particularly in core banking platforms.


                3.            Strong understanding of data management principles, data modelling, and database technologies.


                4.            Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across different teams and departments.


                5.            Experience with Agile methodologies and a track record of delivering successful data products.


                6.            Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.


                7.            Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the financial sector.


                8. Possess broad-based knowledge of the banking and wealth management business.


                9. Ability to understand complex business rules and details of a process. 


                10. High level of ability to work independently with integrity and a strong sense of accountability for results.
