Job description

As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining various types of data within organizational databases and systems. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in handling Data Entry tasks. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Data Entry software, have excellent organizational skills, and ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the data being processed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry:
  • Input and update data into databases and systems accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure data integrity by reviewing and verifying information for completeness and accuracy.
  • Data Verification:
  • Cross-check entered data with source documents to identify and correct discrepancies.
  • Perform regular data quality checks to maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Database Maintenance:
  • Assist in maintaining and updating databases by adding, modifying, or deleting records as needed.
  • Organize and archive data to ensure easy retrieval and accessibility.
  • Documentation:
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of Data Entry activities.
  • Create and update documentation related to Data Entry processes and procedures.
  • Confidentiality:
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Adhere to privacy policies and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Efficiency and Speed:
  • Meet or exceed established Data Entry productivity and accuracy targets.
  • Prioritize tasks to maximize efficiency while maintaining accuracy.
  • Communication:
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding Data Entry tasks and project requirements.
  • Report any issues or discrepancies promptly.
  • Problem Solving:
  • Identify and resolve Data Entry issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other team members to address challenges and improve processes.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in Data Entry is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Data Entry Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Proficient in using Data Entry software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks.
  • Familiarity with data confidentiality principles and practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: ₹10,213.69 - ₹18,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 48 per week

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Performance bonus

Ability to Relocate:

  • secunderabad, 500003: Relocate before starting work (Required)
