ISS STOXX is hiring a Data Collection Analyst - Investment products to join the Mumbai Team (Goregaon East).
Overview:
The Data Collection Analyst is a valuable member of the Rainmaker Data Team, directly contributing to the company in the provision of data for the financial services industry in Australia.
The successful candidate will carry out Data Collection and data entry of Superannuation and Banking Product Data across fees, insurance, investments, interest rates and product features. This position will provide the opportunity to build experience and become a Superannuation and Banking data specialist on the sector within Australia.
Working within a long-established Data Team where members are passionate about data and financial services. Each team member will have access to professional learning material, professional software, industry events and media titles to support their growth and expand their knowledge of the financial services industry in Australia.
About Rainmaker Information: the company was founded in 1992, and is a leading provider of data, insights, research, and media on the financial services industry in Australia. Rainmaker is part of Institutional Shareholder Services’ Market Intelligence (ISS MI) business unit.
Responsibilities:
- Data collection and Data entry for Superannuation and Banking products, including Superannuation and retirement funds, insurance products, home loans, credit cards and term deposits.
- Researching websites, product documents, and other sources for information.
- Reading key media titles on the Australian financial services market.
- Maintaining a database.
- Communication of tasks, progress, successes, and deadlines to the team.
- Participating in an ongoing professional learning and development program in financial services.
Qualifications:
- Passionate about Data and /or financial services.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with using MS Excel.
- University qualified in a relevant field, including, but not limited to Economics, Finance, Business or Marketing.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong Internet research skills.
- Strong MS Office suite skills.
- 1 to 3 years’ experience with Data Collection.
- An understanding of Superannuation and Banking Products.
- Well organised and pro-active.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Genuine interest in learning about the financial services industry.
