We are excited to offer an opportunity for an enthusiastic undergraduate student to join our dynamic team as a Data Annotation and Collection Intern. This role is crucial in supporting our machine learning initiatives by collecting, labelling, storing, and annotating biological samples from various hospitals and diagnostic labs in and around Pune. The intern will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality data for our ML models, contributing significantly to our innovative projects.
Duration: The internship will last for a period of 4 months, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and intern performance. It will be Onsite at IISER Pune, Maharashtra, India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Annotate samples with precise and accurate information for ML training.
- Ensure adherence to ethical standards and regulatory compliance in data collection.
- Collaborate with the team to feed annotated data into ML models from week 3 of the internship.
- Participate in weekly review meetings to track progress and receive feedback.
Qualifications Required:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program related to Biotechnology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Keen interest in biotechnology, Data Annotation, and machine learning.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Prior experience in data collection or annotation is a plus, but not required.
