General tasks and Responsibilities:
Manage internal, Advanced Warehouses, Customer claims, and Warranty Quality issues.
Identify root cause and define permanent corrective and Preventive actions.
Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to IATF 16949
Improve the Quality Performance KPIs in daily, weekly, and Monthly basis.
Promote the use of customer preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as FMEA, Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing).
Participate in cross-functional teams in new Launches and in Serial Projects.
Lead Customer quality audits and ensure Process and Product Audits are conducted.
Contribute to the department Company improvement activities through lessons learned.
People Management:
Lead and support groups of quality Supervisors and Quality Engineers.
Train and Provide guidance to other team members.
Skills & Attributes:
Fluent communication in English with overseas Customers
Champion in Problem Solving: 8D, A3, Fishbone, 5Whys, DMAIC
Mastery of VW Group CSR: Formel Q, VDA, VDA 6.3 Process Audit, VDA 6.5 Product Audit
Strong knowledge of Quality Tools: APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC and MSA,
Mastery of quality systems IATF16949
Lean Six Sigma Certification is highly preferred.
Understanding of cost and financial impacts.
