AddressNew deals:
- Assist with populating corporate scorecards (if required for future trades). I.e. input financials in CreditMate system and review CG assessment
- Assist with populating asset "1-pagers" and summary write ups
- Due diligence assets to ensure accuracy of loan data tape (check data tape information to financial statements and/or covenant compliance certificates). We would do this on a sample basis where we are participating in deals and would check all names if we were to lead deals
- SCT may request offshore analyst join diligence calls with manager and/or lead bank (if appropriate to the deal situation)
- Ongoing / quarterly reviews
- VAEs - support SCT in identifying VAEs in the underlying assets. Identify assets which have been subject to credit deterioration (weakening credit metrics, material modifications in the loan docs).
- Ensure that all VAEs are identified and correctly reported by the manager and/or lead bank.
- Conduct fundamental credit review of assets within the portfolios (review latest financials, covenant compliance, budgets, financial forecasts, valuation reports, newswires etc). Input and maintain key credit metrics for that asset within Oxane database to enable financial tracking.
- Data diligence- key metrics from quarterly financial statements/covenant certificates and ensure accuracy of loan data tape. Ok Discuss differences with the SCT on-shore analyst so they can bring it up to the manager and/or lead bank. We would do this on a sample basis where we are participating in deals and would check all names if we were to lead deals
- SCT may request offshore analyst join quarterly diligence calls with manager and/or lead bank (if appropriate to the deal situation)
- Based on latest financial performance and/or warning signals and aligned to internal requirements, propose risk classifications to each asset under coverage (High/Medium/Low risk). Discuss and agree proposed ratings with SCT on-shore analyst.
- Work closely with SCT on-shore analyst to evaluate appropriate valuation for the relevant underlying asset
- High risk names - produce summary write ups for affected names. Write ups to be included in quarterly review pack.
- Support SCT on shore analyst with addressing internal stakeholder queries (including eg. queries raised by PAM and SF risk)
Maintain tracker for missing quarterly financial information and support SCT/LAF team in obtaining missing information from manager and/or lead bank
Support additional ad-hoc request by SCT on-shore analyst (e.g. research on specific industries, or running a stress scenario on High Risk assets)
Educational Qualification - CA/MBA (Finance)
