Role Description
This is a Full-time on-site role located in Ludhiana for a Creative Textile Designer. As a Creative Textile Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating designs for a range of high-quality textile fabrics. You will handle the end-to-end design process including research, creation, editing, and production-ready artwork. The Creative Textile Designer will work closely with cross-functional teams including production, sales, and marketing, as well as external clients and vendors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Design or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in textile or print design, preferably in the fashion apparel industry
- Expertise in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- A firm grasp of design principles, colour theory, and textile composition
- Skilled at producing accurate, detailed line drawings and artwork and ability to hand-paint designs
- Demonstrated creativity, originality, and artistic ability
- Experience with textile printing techniques including screen printing, digital printing, and hand-blocking
- Great communication and team-working skills, and ability to give and receive constructive feedback
