Job description

Role: Creative ( copy ) and Social Media Lead

Department: Marketing

Location: Bangalore ( 5 days a week)

Reports To: Creative Head

Compensation: Upto 16LPA ( Depending on experience)

Notice - Immediate to 30days

One of Asia’s leading merchant commerce platforms. The brand's unique cloud- based platform enables them to offer a wide range of payment acceptance and merchant commerce solutions. The platform offers issuing, processing and distributing digital gift cards for corporate customers. The customer base includes prominent large, mid-sized and small merchants across India, South East Asia and the Middle East. The company is incorporated in Singapore with Sequoia India, Actis Capital, Temasek, PayPal, Sofina and Mastercard as key investors.

This role is a sub brand that deals with products including payment gateway, Affordability Suite, payment links, subscription solutions and more.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Creative copywriting: Ability to create copy in brand's tone-of-voice for brochures, booths, emailers, ads, landing pages, where required.
  • Develop and execute Social Media strategy - Understand the brand personality, target Audience - and bring home fresh ideation on different ways the brand can be manifested outwards.
  • Create and manage Social Media content - Create content and ensure that the personality is consistent across all touchpoints. Ideate on digital campaigns with brand and product marketing team to drive awareness.
  • Analyze Social Media data and trends - keep a tab on the performance metrics and share reports on a regular basis. Suggest ideas and ideas to improve metrics and implement the same. Have a good sense of Social Media metrics, posting management and a keen eye for social listening using leading tools in the market. If you lack one of these three but find yourselves with a keen willingness to learn - you should definitely send your resume in.
  • Collaboration and stakeholder management - Work with multiple teams to create integrated marketing campaigns, videos and content. Handle end-to-end execution of our Social Media content across all relevant platforms. This includes but is not limited to covering products, customers, employees.
  • Social media research and trends - Stay up to date with latest Social Media trends that can be used to build and grow Social Media metrics.
  • Manage Social Media budgets - Ability to understand Social Media spending plans, analyze spend vs performance and take corrective action wherever required.
  • Work with Social Media influencers - Ability to work with Social Media agencies and ideate and suggest influencers based on needs of the brand
  • Own end-to-end execution of content - Lead execution towards multiple touchpoints when it comes to content creation for the brand - including but not limited to Photography, Videography, Web Design, Digital Marketing, Merchandise and Events.
  • Marketing operations/vendor management: Should keep close track on budgets, work with procurement and finance for vendor onboarding and management, share vendor feedback, follow up on invoices and pending payments

Role requirements:

  • Candidate should have mininum 4-6 years of experience working as copywriter and managing Social Media.
  • Proven track record of copywriting for marquee brands across platforms
  • Flexible and agile to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Excellent knowledge in handling Social Media tools. Must be able to navigate data with Excel/PowerPoint skills.
  • High ownership and drive with ability to drive projects and campaigns independently and as a part of a team
  • Seasoned in creating content independently and in guiding in-house design teams and external agency partners.
  • Excellent communication skills - Ability to articulate and explain creative ideas and plans to stakeholders and get consensus
  • Passionate about content creation. A hustler - and a content creator at heart. Good understanding of Social Media KPIs & numbers.
  • Ability to work under tight timelines and deliver
  • Multi-tasking skills - Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously

Working from office: 5 days a week, Koramangala
