Cook- South Indian Cuisine

We are looking for an ambitious and hardworking Cook - South Indian Cuisine to join our team! In this position, you will be hired to Ensure food quality and safety by adhering to food handling and sanitation standards and Monitor and control of kitchen operations and and staff.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook south Indian/Kerala cuisine according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
• Lead food preparation process, both veg and non veg
• Work closely with colleagues in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the Resort and satisfaction of the guests.
• Set up the sections of the kitchen as efficiently as possible to increase the speed and productivity.
• Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness, wastage and cost control.
• Communicate assistance needed during busy periods.
• Accepting store deliveries.
• Always ensure that all stocks are well maintained.
• Always ensure the quality of the food items
• Follow and maintain cleanliness and good hygiene practices in the kitchen.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
• Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature.
• Need to be flexible and willing to help other at busy times as and when required.
• Excellent coordination and handholding with F & B service team to ensure timely service to the Guests

Qualification & Experiance :

• Industry experience in the skills asked for.
• Good communication skill in English and Hindi is an added advantage
• Familiar with inventory systems.
• A team player.
• Minimum 2 Years of experience in the same role.
• Willing to do shift wise duty.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
