We are currently seeking a Control M, Batch, JCL, COBOL Basics, SDSF - Mainframe Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

The Purpose of Your Role
Project is majorly to support the Production batch of both Mainframe & Distributed jobs.
Resource should have knowledge on :
Batch Monitoring, Alerts handling, Abend Handling & Escalation procedures. Adhoc Request Processing with one time production changes.

The Expertise We're Looking For
Location : Bangalore - Manyata/EGL
Shift timings: 6 AM - 3 PM, 11 AM - 8 PM (Rotational - Monthly)
General Expectation
1) Must have Good Communication
2) Must be ready to work in 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM Shift
3) Flexible to work in Client Location GV, Manyata or EGL, Bangalore
4) Must be ready to work from office in a Hybrid work environment. Full Remote work is not an option
Pre-Requisites before submitting profiles
1) Must have Genuine and Digitally signed Form16 for ALL employments
2) All employment history/details must be present in UAN/PPF statements
3) Candidate must be screened using Video and ensure he/she is genuine and have proper work setup
4) Candidates must have real work experience on mandatory skills mentioned in JD
5) Profiles must have the companies which they are having payroll with and not the client names as their employers
6) As these are competitive positions and client will not wait for 60 days and carry the risks of drop-out, candidates must of 0 to 3 weeks of Notice Period
7) Candidates must be screened for any gaps after education and during employment for genuineness of the reasons

The Purpose of Your Role

- Monitoring and Escalations of Control M batch job failures and delays
- Abend Recovery of all production Control M batch jobs on time
- Batch Cycle SLA management
- Request Processing - Implementation of temporary ( one time only) Scheduling changes for Control M batch jobs
- Addressing Space issues, Contention and fixing them
- Good Knowledge on ITSM practices ( Incident handling, Change / Service Request)
- Run a batch related Sev bridges and get the appropriate status cascaded.
- Resolving critical job that would affect the application batch flow based on documents and error of the jobs such as
- Space Abends, time out error, Utility terminated or table space error.
- Good Knowledge on SDSF parameters.

The Expertise We're Looking For
- 3-6 years of experience
- Graduate
